What Is Fantasy Fest?

Fantasy Fest is Key West’s iconic annual festival that draws tens of thousands of visitors from all over the world. For 10 days, the streets come alive with parades, masquerades, costume contests, live music, and themed parties unlike anything else you’ll find in the U.S. Think of it as a tropical version of Mardi Gras—bold, colorful, and filled with pure Key West energy.

Official Fantasy Fest Events at Blue Flamingo Resort

Located at 3820 N Roosevelt Blvd, the new Blue Flamingo Resort is joining the fun as an official Fantasy Fest partner. We’ll be hosting two epic events during the festival, both free admission and open to the public.

Mermaids & Mayhem

Date: Saturday, October 18 | 12 PM – 4 PM

Mermaids & Mayhem is your chance to dive into an afternoon of oceanic debauchery featuring shimmering tails, salty kisses, and plenty of poolside surprises. The Bedtime Bizarre

Date: Wednesday, October 22 | 6 PM – 10 PM
Location: Blue Flamingo Resort

Step into a dreamworld of twisted fairytales and magical mischief. At The Bedtime Bizarre, the Blue Flamingo transforms into a surreal playground with immersive décor, whimsical cocktails, and live entertainment. Dress to impress in your pajama couture or outrageous monster attire and prepare for surprises around every corner. From lounging under the stars to dancing deep into the night, this is one Fantasy Fest event you won’t want to snooze on.
